Welcome to the Brookline History tour – the only snowmobile themed history tour in the state, possibly even the country! We’ve worked hard over the 2015/16 off-season to bring you an exciting new reason to ride our trails – the Brookline History tour.
You’ve seen the signs trailside and at various intersections throughout our trails in Brookline NH. Each sign is handcrafted by our volunteers and sponsored by local businesses. Stopping at the sign, you’ll see they all use a common layout as shown in the picture below.
Using your smartphone, you can scan the QR codes and they will then bring you to certain sections of our website for a more immersive experience when visiting a historical location. You’ll find Maps on where you are, what attractions are nearby, as well as some details on our local business sponsors.
Can’t get the QR codes to work? You may need to download a QR code or Barcode scanner that allows QR codes – You can get a “QR Code” reader on iTunes or Google Play Store using your smartphone. Your smartphone also needs internet access since these are “fetched” off our server. If you do not have access to the Internet via 3G/4G on your smartphone while on the trails, you won’t be able to use the history tour features other than what’s available on the sign.
Interested in sponsoring a sign or two with your business logo? Please contact us, we have sign and website advertising packages available. See more about the history tour on our History Tour Facebook page
